POLINI 187cc aluminum cylinder for Vespa 125-150 PX, SPRINT VELOCE, GTR, TS, D.63 STROKE 60mm

available in two displacements, wiht double-spark head and 8 connection
points!
Many the strong points of this new Polini kit:
- Ø 63 mm cylinder, with the newly re-designed transfers to improve the
gases scavenging. Available with standard stroke of 57mm that gives
178cc displacement or the more "racing" one with the increased stroke
up to 60 mm that gives a displacement of 187 cc. For the kit with stroke
60mm it is also available a new balanced crankshaft. The cylinder is air
cooled but thanks to the aluminium construction and the special design
of the fins the engine temperature remains lower.
- New shell casting head and prearranged two spark plug holes. The
original lateral hole for an easier fitting or the "racing" central hole which
requires a slight modification of the shroud plastic.
Another important feature refers to the connection points: further the standard
4 points, Polini head has 4 addition points that grant a stronger seal to the
compression. The fin is bigger granting a better heat dispersion and the head
gasket is produced with siliconized steel (not present on the original vespa) to
grant the best seal during the compression between head and cylinder.
The kit permits to increase the power and to reach the best performance
keeping them constant over time.
