Estrattore volano - Tool flywheel puller 22x1,5 (cod.143.695.001)

Digital ignition polini cone 20, 1.1-kg flywheel, vespa 50/90/125 primavera/et3/pk
Procedure
- remove the engine from the chassis and disassemble the original flywheel and ignition. some crankcases may have a fixing screw (indicated inside the circle in picture 1); if so, it is necessary to remove the screw using a manual mill. always in picture 1, in correspondence of the square, open a window to measure the pick-up distance (picture 4). prepare the stator with a 0,6 mm shim (pictures 2-3), fit the flywheel and check the distance between the pick-up (0.7±0.1mm picture 4) and the distance between flywheel and stator (2.5±0.3mm). to check this distance it is necessary to remove the hexagonal socket head screw m5x14 and, by using a gauge, measure the distance (picture 5) after having subtracted the flywheel (19mm shim). if the distance does not respect the tolerance (2.5±0.3mm) it is necessary to disassemble all the parts and add or remove one adjustment shim under the stator. at the end of this operation, close the flywheel and screw the cooling fan using the screws supplied.

advance adjustment
- adjust the advance at 23° and 4.500 rev/i corresponding to 2.7mm for the reed kit and 2.6mm for the 135cc intake kit. to achieve the correct advance, find the spark point placed in correspondence of the ø 4 hole. using a dial gauge bring the flywheel to the advance point required and, using a ø 4 drill or a pin, put it next to the spark (picture 6); to move the pick up loose the fixing screws (picture 7) and turn it till it corresponds.

map selection
- in the control unit there are 4 maps. select it according to the advance adjustment table. place the coil and check it is ground like all the other wires. always use the spark plug hood supplied.
