Description

Very high quality special nut, made in Germany, for all Vespa engines with the clutch on the crankshaft before the year of construction 1990 which have a so-called castle nut in the original.
Therefore it is suitable for all vehicles built from 1950 onwards, for example V1-V5, VNB, VNA, GS150, GS160, Sprint, Rally, GT, GTR, T5, Cosa1, PX, PE etc...
This nut, made in Germany for us, completely replaces the old locking nut and thus allows you to work safely and precisely even with a torque wrench. In addition to manufacturing precision, it is also suitable for a tightening torque of more than 70Nm thanks to the use of hardness 10 steel (in our internal tests we managed to load the nut with a tightening torque of 170Nm). Conventional cap nuts often fail at 40Nm. With the BGM nut, slippage and failure of the crankshaft/clutch hub due to a loose clutch nut are a thing of the past.
