All the performances of an engine imperatively start from the crankshaft.
There can be no high efficiency and reliability of an engine, if it is not equipped with a crankshaft of excellent quality.
This is why Malossi exclusively produces 1st class crankshafts.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Half shaft material: 18 Ni Cr Mo5.
Forged monolithic half-shafts and rotating masses.
Machining on very high precision machine tools.
Five heat treatments on all components.
High surface finish to improve reliability.
Dynamic balancing up to 16,000 rpm.
Conrod forged in 18 Ni Cr Mo5 copper plated, coupled to the shaft with precision roller bearing for high speeds.
