Description

Specific air jet set for Dell'Orto SI24/24G carburettors (for example Vespa T5). Carburetors specified with the suffix "G" have a lower overall height than those with the suffix "E" or "D".
The 'G' carburettor types also use shorter side and side chokes while the T5 models are almost exclusively fitted with a 120 size choke. Other sizes are no longer available from Piaggio/Dell'Orto. The BGM PRO set closes this gap and offers with the sizes 120, 130, 140, 140, 150, 150, 160, 170 and 180 a very large range for individual carburettor tuning.

FUNCTIONAL AIR JET A main jet has a linear delivery characteristic. This means that the main jet would lubricate the mixture more and more as the speed increased, and this is where it comes into play.

This makes mixing easier as speed increases. The larger the air nozzle, the more the mixture is reduced.
The range available for the SI carburettors is from 120-190. 120 air jets have a hole of only 1.2mm, so they deliver very little air and are accordingly greased. A 190 air jet delivers a lot of air and is therefore very lean.
