Mounting instructions:
Chamfer the oil seal seat in the motor housing from the outside so that the oil seal does not peel off when inserted.
If necessary, glue in place with the appropriate assembly adhesive.
Press in the oil seal until the surface is flush with the outer surface of the housing.
Compensate the missing plate of the original oil seal by using a shim washer, e.g. PS 50x62x0.5, between the bearing and the engine case.
3-engine studs VM - VL - VB require a 4 to 5 mm spacer at the cylinder base, depending on the design torque or speed.
Vespa GS engines converted to Quattrini M1XL cylinders require a 15 mm spacer.
Due to the large gudgeon pin bearing, cylinders with 16mm gudgeon pins can also be used on the Wideframe engine case.
