Pair of shot-blasted die-cast silicon aluminum alloy carters. Malossi integral design with lamellar admission, controlled by a large 4-petal valve.Available in 2 versions that include the entire range of Piaggio and Gilera mopeds:

They can be used with any thermal group, exhaust system, crankshaft and fuel system.
The Malossi reed covers are perfectly interchangeable with the original ones and are equipped with a special intake manifold for the original carburetor or a SHA 13/13 carburetor.
A specific fuel system has been created with a 19 mm carburettor and E12 type air filter, complete with every detail for assembly.
Given the very limited insertion spaces in Piaggio frames, it was necessary to create a super compact engine, and the great commitment of our technicians is once again crowned with full success.
The objectives achieved are: highly technical product, sturdiness, simplicity, ease of assembly, excellent operating result without making changes (everything is reconnected as in the original engine).
The large 4-petal reed valve in composite fibers ensures smooth and progressive admission that optimizes the torque curve starting from the lowest revs and allows you to deliver maximum power.

The gas passage has been completely revised thanks to a duct capable of ensuring a greater quantity of charge with less losses from the valve to the cylinder.

The introduction of two new gas guides in the area under the cylinder allows the high performance cylinder crankcase to be connected more effectively.

The new volute, on the other hand, forces the gases to complete a calculated path and more directed towards the cooling fins of the cylinder, guaranteeing the operation of the thermal unit within the optimum speeds, even in the most severe conditions.

The assembly of the casings is now easier thanks to a very high precision centering obtained through calibrated bushings and mechanically advanced housings, whose recesses completely incorporate the cylindrical head screws, which can be screwed with a simple Allen key.
